Chronic Back Pain

Degenerative Disc Disease and Scoliosis ( as well as Schermanns Disease, Chronic Fatigue, Insomnia and Fibromyalgia) - Samantha Hill
My journey from a healthy, active and strong child to the exhausted, irritable, pain riddled adult I am today.

I’ve always loved all animals, horses in particular. I got my first opportunity to ride at 5 years old at a Waikato Equestrian Centre, since that day I have been completely hooked. I didn’t get to really be around horses or ride until I was 11. My mum put an ad in the newspaper asking if anyone had any ponies that they’d be willing to let my twin sister and I come and ride and learn just how much time and hard work it took to own a pony. I think she was hoping that it would make us realize we didn’t want to have to spend so much time taking care of such a large animal, unfortunately for her it made our horse craze even worse. I started riding a Kaimanawa mare for a couple in Glenbrook that owned a number of Kaimanawas but couldn’t actually ride. I rode that mare until I was 12 and the day I had a horrific fall off of her. She wasn’t the most honest of horses and if she didn’t want to do something she’d buck and rear until she got you off. She did that to me one day in summer, when the ground is as hard as concrete. It wasn’t the first time she’d gotten me off but this time my foot got trapped in the stirrup and I was dragged. That was the first day I’d experienced excruciating back pain and the first time I hadn’t been able to get right back on after a fall. After that incident I stopped riding her and focused my attention on a Kaimanawa gelding that was unbroken. I started sitting on him, standing on him (!) and eventually got the okay to saddle him. Fast forward a few months and he was “broken in”. Due to the fact that I had essentially broken him in and I had zero experience training horses let alone breaking them in, he also had major issues with bucking. He got me off daily, sometimes multiple times a day. My back pain steadily got worse the more I fell.

Eventually I graduated to a bigger pony that wasn’t a previously wild pony but a schoolmaster. He started my love of dressage. He was the sweetest, kindest and honest pony anyone could ever want. After a few years of riding him with no falls my back pain had improved but still hadn’t gone away. I told my mum about my back pain, but she thought it was growing pains and I believed her. I was only young and constantly growing so it made sense. After I graduated from ponies to hacks I got a lovely older grey gelding that was amazing to me, but I had a few falls off him, nothing major but they hurt none the less. When I was 15 I was riding him in preparation for our districts pony club dressage day and I was barely walking on him around the arena and just bawling my eyes out because my back hurt so badly. After that my mum decided we should get it checked out, so we went to the GP and had some x-rays taken. They said my disc spaces in my lumbar spine were reduced and the discs looked angry, which explained the back pain. They said Panadol and Nurofen should take care of it but to come back if it didn’t. After that I occasionally took Panadol but it made me feel really nauseous so I avoided it. I continued to ride and I started work for a Grand Prix dressage rider, I helped take care of the horses and cleaned her tack in exchange for lessons on my horse. I eventually got to have a couple of lessons on her gorgeous level 4 clydie x mare and I got really and truly bit by the dressage bug! While working for her I went for my first MRI and subsequent referral to a Spinal Surgeon due to the results. I got diagnosed with Disc Degeneration Disease, Scoliosis and Schermanns Disease. My lumbar spine looked terrible, the discs were so angry and dehydrated and causing me huge amounts of pain. The surgeon suggested a fusion but I got a second opinion due to me being so young and that’s such a major surgery. I’d already had a number of surgeries but not on my spine. I decided against doing it then. I wanted to wait until I was older in case the pain was temporary. The rider I was working for ended up breeding 2 foals, one clydie x and one warmblood. Both were fillies. The clydie x filly got broken in before the warmblood filly because she was more mature in her body than the warmblood filly. She was broken in and had her first couple of rides with no incident. So when she offered me to have a ride on her one day I was all for it. I was walking her around the arena when a client for a lesson started unloading her horse from her float. The filly blew up. I mean full on rodeo, bucking higher than the 5 foot arena fences. I remember holding on and being okay until she aimed for the fence, I could feel my balance starting to shift and I knew I couldn’t hold on much longer, so I decided to bail instead of being thrown into the arena fence. Both options weren’t ideal but I figured I could at least kind of control how I landed if I was to bail, so I went with that. I landed square on my butt. I couldn’t breathe or move, the pain was incredible. I was seeing colors. After that fall I really started to have major issues with my back and my legs. My pain was constantly at a 10-12 out of 10. I still rode but I didn’t get on any freshly broken horses again after that. I was no longer really sleeping due to the pain and I was limited on what I could achieve in a day because my energy was sapped so quickly from being in that kind of pain constantly.

At 17 I left school and started a mechanical engineering apprenticeship and went to university for the certificate in mechanical engineering before I could start full time engineering. I was 18 when I went back to see the surgeon again, I could barely walk anymore and work was almost impossible. I had barely ridden since I’d started full time work because I couldn’t handle the pain of a full day in a workshop and then riding afterwards. The surgeon recommended the fusion to me again, this time I agreed. I left his office and cried, I was so happy that I would finally be pain free again. A few months later I had the fusion, they did a new technique where they made the incision anteriorly (abdominal incision) and went from the front instead of the back. I also had a new kind of cage that is porcelain with 3 screws and no room for a bone graft from my hip, so a drug called Bone Grow was used instead. Apparently I’d heal faster from this technique. The surgery was a long one, and not smooth sailing. I have a morbid needle phobia (my body thinks I’m going to die when I have to have a needle for anything. Very unpleasant). So no IV for me while I was awake, they put me under and then had great difficulty gaining IV access. I was a premature baby and I had to have cut downs so all of the great IV access spots in most people are non-existent in me. They eventually got 2 IV’s in just in case the first one blew once I was awake. They also put a central line in because my blood pressure was through the roof. They performed a fusion on my L3-L4 and wanted to do another level but my heart wasn’t having it, so they finished and woke me up instead. I had a very rough recovery. I get very sick with anaesthesia. I was vomiting for 3 days straight, with a newly fused spine and an abdominal incision, it was torture. The pain relief made me even sicker, so that was a no go. I was bedridden for the first 48 hours, with the constant vomiting and excruciating pain I really wondered what I’d done. I also noticed that the inside and top of my left thigh was asleep constantly. I thought that’d change once I started walking again. On day 3 I had a physio come around and get me out of bed, she taught me how to safely get out of bed and minimising my pain when doing so. She also had to make sure I could walk, so we started with a walker. When I first went to stand my left leg went out from under me. That continuously happened whenever I would try and stand or walk. Again I thought it would improve with time. The physio then had me walk upstairs before I could leave the hospital, impossible with one leg that I couldn’t lift or weight bear on. I dragged it up those stairs just so I could go home, I HATE hospitals and needed to get out of there. I finally got discharged and could start the healing process so I could get back to work and riding. The next 6 weeks were hell. I couldn’t do many things by myself because of my pain and my leg not working. I had my first x-ray and follow up 6 weeks post op, this is where the surgeon told me that there had been some damage to my L2-L3 root nerve and that’s what was causing the paralysis in my left leg. He said it could get better or it could not. Wasn’t his problem basically.

Over 6 months I started working slowly again but not riding. Eventually I was back on full duties at work and after a month or 2 of struggling daily to keep up with everyone else despite my best efforts; I realized that I was no longer physically capable of doing the job. I left my apprenticeship and had to decide what I was going to do now. I slowly started riding again, nothing much just a sit on a horse here and there. I didn’t have my own horse, but I was still working for the dressage rider. She gave me a lesson on her lovely Level 4 clydie x mare and I really really struggled with my balance and keeping my left leg in the stirrup or still or doing what I asked. That’s when we realized that my new left leg affected the way I rode, badly. Luckily for me she had worked with a Para rider before and knew how to go about being classified. She got me in touch with the classifier and I went and got nationally classified. I really thought I wouldn’t be classed as para, but to my shock I was classified as a grade 4 and I could use compensating aids. From there I started riding with a rubber band on my left stirrup to keep my foot in the stirrup or the stirrup on my foot, however you look at it. Over the years I did my research on para competitions and the Paralympics. I thought my riding career was over when I first rode with my paralysed left thigh, but after watching hours of videos and reading all the information I could get my hands on I realized that although I was officially disabled that I had opportunities that able bodied riders didn’t. I started looking for a horse that I could compete in para competition with, a lovely but hot chestnut gelding named PJ came into my life as a lease horse. He was the first horse I learnt to ride with my disability and compete in para competition with. While learning all of that and coming to grips with it all my pain continued to get worse. I had insomnia, started to abuse alcohol and I was a horrible person to be around because of my moods. My surgeon said he’d done his job and I was no longer his problem, so I got a referral to a Musculoskeletal Pain Specialist. I went for my first visit and he could barely touch my back without me leaping off the table. I couldn’t take pain meds because they made me sick, which made my pain worse from being bent over the toilet and I wouldn’t let him do steroid injections because of my phobia of needles. There really wasn’t anything he could do for me except do myofascial release so I could somewhat function. I was on the sickness benefit for over a year because I couldn’t work due to the pain I was in. I eventually started working again because I couldn’t afford to go to the doctors anymore to maintain my sickness benefit. My pain continued to get worse and worse, spreading to my hips, down my legs, my feet, up my spine, my ribs, my neck and my shoulders. My pain specialist eventually diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. That changed my life. I had a reason as to why I was in agony constantly, but I didn’t know where to go from there because I knew I couldn’t live with that kind of pain for the rest of my life. I tried, osteopathy, chiropractic, physio, hypnotherapy, sports massage and anything else I could get my hands on. Nothing worked. I moved to Florida when I was 22 after getting married to an American. Once there I got a full time job and after 2 months I realized that I could not work full time because of my pain and my chronic debilitating fatigue. I changed to a part time job and from there I learnt that I could definitely never work full time again. After being in the USA for over 2 years I decided to see if the military doctors could do anything to help me with my pain. They sent me for another MRI, realized it was way beyond their scope and sent me to a Neuro Spinal Surgeon. He couldn’t help except do a Rhisotomy but my insurance wouldn’t cover it.

My husband and I then moved back to NZ after he separated from the military. I got diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue soon after and I started seeing my pain specialist again because I was miserable. I’d heard from every medical professional that they couldn’t help me, I was depressed and over it. I didn’t know how I would continue to live, let alone ride and work in this kind of pain constantly. Fast forward to Horse of the Year 2017, I had seen some ads for a machine called the Cyclo-ssage and I knew some other para riders that used it. I was in agony from the 8 hour drive to Hastings and sleeping on the floor of my float on an air mattress. I walked into the Cylco-ssage tent on Thursday morning expecting to have a session on the Cyclo-ssage and forget about it, like everything else I’d tried. I met Rory and Gaynor and Rory told me all about the system and got me set up on it for a 15 minute session. Rory asked me my story so I told him about my struggle with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome since I was 18, I’m now 25. While on the system I started to feel my muscles relax and felt like I could actually fall asleep, that never happens. My session finished and Rory told me to take a quick walk to see how I felt. I walked out of the tent about 3 metres and then back, very gingerly because I didn’t think it’d work or it would have made my pain worse. I was not expecting what happened, I was almost pain free… For the first time in over 13 years I felt normal. I was standing with my husband and Rory outside the tent and was trying my hardest not to cry because I was completely amazed and the relief I felt was unimaginable to someone who hasn’t dealt with chronic pain before. I finally had hope of living pain free and having a good quality of life. My quality of life before the Cyclo-ssage was crap on a good day. Every single day was a struggle, to get out of bed, to get dressed, to shower, to do anything. On my days where I was having a “Fibro flare” my quality of life was nothing. My flare days really tested my will to live. I walked away from that tent and burst into tears and just bawled my eyes out into my worried husbands shoulder, until he heard me say that my pain was almost gone and I’ve not had that since I was 12. I knew that I needed a Cyclo-ssage in my life and I would do anything to get one. I’m not the kind of person to try something once and be sold, but with this I was. I couldn’t afford a system on a part time vet nurses salary so with the support of my husband I approached my bank, they’ve known me since I was 11 and have been following my journey since. They happily gave me a loan for a Pro-personal Cyclo-ssage and Rory went way above and beyond to let me take one home with me from the show with a small deposit. I can never express how grateful I am to him for that gesture, he literally changed my life. I’ve been the proud owner of my Cyclo-ssage for 55 days and I can honestly say that my pain has never been better. I had a session every day at the Horse of the Year show and it really showed in my riding, I had more energy and more range of motion so I rode much better than I’ve been able to since my surgery. It showed in my results too. For the first time in years I didn’t have to be lifted off of my horse, I got off on my own and could untack him easily. Since the Horse of the Year show and bringing my new best friend home with me I have continued to improve. My quality of life is great! My pain levels are much more manageable and after 3 years of taking sleeping pills to sleep I no longer need them. Work is so much easier too, I don’t dread going into work because at the end of the day I know I can lay on my Cyclo-ssage and all of my pain and aching muscles will be gone. My pain specialist has noticed a huge improvement in me, my attitude and my body. My “Fibro Flares” are no longer unbearable but easily managed, my sleep is better, my mood is improved immensely and facing a life of this is no longer so difficult. I will never go without my system and rarely go a day without a session.

I truly owe my new life and new attitude to Rory, Gaynor and the Pro-Personal Cyclo-ssage.

Chronic back condition - Trevor Hanson
Having purchased my Mk4 Pro at the Ideal Home Exhibition this year I am continuing to use it on a daily basis. This is the only treatment that reduces my pain when I have exhausted my limit on analgesics. The warmth from the infrared lamps as well as the gentle vibration consistently takes the edge off the pain and allows me some respite. I have lost count of the times that I have fallen asleep during a session, making up for the lost sleep during the night. I honestly do not know how I would have survived without the Cyclo-ssage system. I can only highly recommend this system to anyone suffering from chronic persistent pain and issues with joints. Visit one of the locations where the team are demonstrating the system and try it for yourself. You have nothing to lose, but possibly a lot to gain.

Chronic back condition (Arthritis lower back) - Gail King
I have owned one of these for 18 months. I have Arthritis and muscle pain in the lower back. I would recommend one of these. An hour a day keeps me more flexible and relieves the pain.

Chronic back condition - Denise Moreton
I tried this system out a while back at a show at the NEC Birmingham and couldn’t believe how much better my back pain was. (I have long-standing chronic back pain) I was able to walk around the NEC pain free and feeling so relaxed for several hours afterwards.

Chronic back condition - Denise Moreton
I am very pleased with my Cyclo-ssage and my back has been much better since I have been using it on a daily basis. I would say my back pain is more than 50% improved, which means that am now able to do things that I haven't been able to do for a very long time. I am able to tolerate my 12 hour shifts now which I had reduced to 8 hour shifts before mainly due to the level of back pain I was previously experiencing. Cyclo- ssage has had a very positive effect on my health and wellbeing and other family members find it of great benefit to them also. I certainly think it was a very worthwhile purchase for me personally and I cannot recommend Cyclo-ssage therapy enough to those who live with chronic pain.

Disc degeneration - Angela Ramsey Clement
I suffer from disc degeneration and have been told to live with the condition, as there is nothing they can do except give me anti-inflammatories and painkillers to take daily. I have recently been diagnosed with a chronic liver disease so can no longer have anti inflammatories since then I am in serious chronic pain especially night and morning. I have been using my Cyclo-ssage for 2 weeks and even though I thought it too early to write a review properly I can honestly say it is helping me with my pain it has not taken away the condition and I don’t expect it too but it is definitely less aggravated - I will keep you updated! Secondly because my husband has been asking if it’s helped me he is now using it him self and also found a benefit to him.

Including Chronic Fatigue - Xanta Da Costa Maia
I have had chronic pain for almost four years and I also have a clubbed foot. I have not tried anything else like this because they did not seem like they would work. My mum saw the banners at Cowes week saying the Cyclo-ssage could work for chronic fatigue which is close to what I have so I tried it and it made a big difference to my circulation and my back as well. Thank you very much for helping my mum buy one at Cowes week. You were really kind and really nice!

Degeneration of Lumbar and spine - David Steel
I suffer from degeneration of the Lumbar and Cervical spine and prior to buying the system was visiting a Chiropractor about once every two weeks (sometimes more often, depending on the severity of my pain). However, since purchasing the system, I have suffered much less and have visited a Chiropractor only once! I use the system regularly for 15 minute or 30 minute sessions as part of my self- management routine and I am impressed with the benefits I gain from it. I have even been doing some gardening work recently, which I would not have contemplated previously. More importantly, my pain levels are massively reduced and therefore my general feeling of well-being is much improved. Incidentally, I am often found to be falling asleep when taking a 30-minute session! I would thoroughly recommend the product to anyone who suffers from this type of pain and thank you and your staff for introducing me to the system. Yours sincerely, David Steel

Including Arthritis, Cellulitis - Karen Varney
Hi there. Just to let you know the in laws are having great benefits from the Cyclo-ssage. They had it delivered last Wednesday and are feeling the benefits already from using it. Everything lol. Mum in law has bad back, arthritis, really bad cellulitis to name a few and father in law has general age problems and joint pains. They had demo yesterday afternoon and both felt an instant difference. My father in law was extremely skeptical about trying it. He was surprisingly impressed. Can’t wait until it arrives. Looking forward to being out of pain for a few hours.

Lower back pain - Selina Ramsey
I purchased the system at the Ideal Home Exhibition March 2013. I suffer with lower back pain and have done so for quite a few years. I am a hairdresser so standing all day does not make it any better, as the pain is repetitive. After my session on the system I felt almost instant relief, which lasted up to four days after. My husband kept asking me everyday how I felt and was impressed with how I felt. So I know that I had made the right decision purchasing the Cyclo-ssage system. Since receiving my system I have been using it twice a day for 15 mins each session and I have much more energy and I am sleeping a lot better. My back pain has improved immensely. I needed some information on the system to make sure I was using it correctly, so I went to see the team at the Grand Design Show. They were very helpful and told me I could call anytime if I was unsure about anything. I would recommend this system to anyone who is suffering with health issues, which causes them constant pain. A very happy customer.

Muscle spasms - Cath Vaughan
You may remember me? I was the troubled female Postie, struggling to stay in my job. My back, after many years sterling service, was trying to tell me it had had enough! I have worked for Royal Mail for 20 years and never in my life had I been troubled by back problems, but in April this year I started to become aware of difficulties with back pain and loss of mobility. The situation deteriorated rapidly and I was soon struggling to keep on working. NHS was less than helpful so my work arranged for me to see a private physio, as I was keen not to go off sick. The physio was good but couldn't prevent the muscular spasms that by now were locking up my back muscles; in my bodies’ own attempts to support my spine. A 2-week holiday from work didn't help; neither did the Diazepan that the doctor prescribed. By now I was quite depressed, as not only was I not getting better, but the situation kept getting worse. I only normally take medication for any ailment under duress, but by now I was taking ibuprofen wholesale, just to keep functioning. And then we met you at the Highland Show. There are few folk more skeptical than me but I was grateful for the chance to rest my back at the Show and so duly took up the offer of a demonstration. As the heat and massage did their job I was lying there thinking Oh my God, this is great - but this is going to be expensive - there's no way we can afford this! Bless my husband, as far from recoiling in horror at the price, he simply said If this will help you, we have to get you one and so we signed up for one of your massage beds. It arrived 2 days later and from the first few times of using it I could feel the tide turning and a gradual improvement. By the end of the first week I had abandoned all medication. A few weeks later we were at the Scone Game Fair and I stopped by your stand there. I'm sure those folk I spoke to trying out your massage beds must have doubted I ever had a back problem as I chirpily skipped about extolling the benefits of your beds! Ok, I have only recently been able to touch my toes again but I am back dancing around in the kitchen! I still have a problem sitting too long and am continuing to work on the lower part of my spine and buttocks with the massage bed but I feel a new confidence that I will be able to deal with problems as they arise and my mobility need not be compromised long term. As the doctor put it at your age (55) there is always going to be wear and tear to the spine but now I know I can do something about the repair! So thank you once again and I hope your beds get the recognition they deserve. Cath Vaughan.

Degenerative Facet Joint Disease - R Peters-Smith
I purchased one of your Cyclo-ssage Therapy Systems at Blenheim. I suffer from degenerative facet joint disease. I had denervation of my entire spine done 10 years ago, which worked well for about 5 years. It has been getting steadily worse since. I had some joints denerved in my lumber spine in April with no improvement. I was getting desperate as the pain was unremitting and life had become a round of, taking drugs I.e. Tramadol and Gabapentin that helped with the pain but made me a zombie!! I had bilateral sacroiliac injections last Saturday, which has given me some relief, but my Cyclo- ssage has become a lifeline and I am addicted!! The immense relief I get from the infa-red heat and massage is unbelievable. I know it's not a cure but if I can live a reasonable useful life and function as I did 16 years ago it's worth every penny! It's amazing how many friends with bad backs etc call round for a coffee!! I will have to go back for denervation of the sacroiliac joints but with the help of the Cyclo-ssage I am confident of virtual meds free future. Thanks to the team at Blenheim. R Peters-Smith Canterbury.

Chronic back condition (whiplash injury) - Gina Shiessl
I originally bought the Pro Personal Massage System for my daughter who competes in dressage to help keep her relaxed between classes - or if she has slept in the lorry, however I have actually found that I use it the most! I had a bad accident in December and apart from obvious injuries, I suffered from a whiplash type injury and have since had problems in my back and neck. I was finding that when I put my head forwards I got pins and needles in my hands - however since using the Pro Personal Massage System around 4 times a week I have not had any problems. I find if I have been driving long distances I get neck and shoulder stiffness but after just a 15-minute session on the Pro Personal Massage System it is back to normal. The Pro Equine Massage System has also shown huge benefits with the horses - in particular our 17hh dressage horse who as a hind leg shiver stemming from his back - the System has helped hugely. Our other horse is very tense and I thought that when he first had the System on he would hit the roof, but despite 2 minutes of snorting he then completely relaxed and now thoroughly enjoys it. We travel from Jersey to the UK regularly to compete, which involves a ten-hour journey on the lorry - it is fantastic to be able to use this at the other end to help relieve tension from the travelling.

Chronic back condition (lower back) - Fionna Harrison
My husband and I were wandering the trade stands and saw the Cyclo-ssage stand so decided to investigate further. I am very interested in the benefits of massage having tried various products in the past. Being very active - riding two horses a day - life tends to take it's toll on your body and over the years I have developed joint stiffness and various aches and pains so I have regular sports massages and practice the Alexander Technique, which helps me to use my body more correctly and release tension when it occurs. I was instantly impressed when trying the system as I felt the release in my lower back very quickly so I knew it was working. My husband was equally impressed by the very thorough demonstration and felt the benefits of the trial straight away, so we decided to purchase the system there and then and are pleased we did so. I have found that when using the System on a regular basis I notice a significantly higher level of freedom of movement and reduced tension. I use the System on a regular basis and notice that I am more supple and move more freely which helps with my riding. I also used to suffer with difficulties getting to sleep due to lower back pain but if I use the System prior to going to bed it is brilliant - so much so that I have been known to fall asleep whilst using it. I think it would be extremely valuable to anyone suffering from sleeping problems.

Lower back with nerve pain - Mrs Graham
When I saw the product I was in agony with my back and could barely walk. I then had a fifteen-minute demonstration and decided to order a Pro Personal Therapy System straight away as I could immediately feel the benefit. I took delivery of the product on Tuesday after the show and have used it for a week so far with fantastic results. I suffer from severe lower back pain, what they call a mechanical back which gives me shooting pains, particularly in my left side and I can't believe what a difference it has made. I walked around the golf course yesterday, which I couldn't have even contemplated doing a week ago. The beauty of it is so relaxing. I use it twice a day and it’s not a chore it's an absolute pleasure!

Including hip pain - Kenneth Alan
I purchased my Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System from your company about two years ago and I would like to express how pleased I am with it. I use it three times each day, morning noon and early evening, it facilitates my movement and the relief from back and hip pain is wonderful. I know that it will not cure my medical condition but it certainly makes my life more comfortable. I cannot imagine life without it! Many thanks from a grateful customer.

Due to a broken back - Caroline Waring
I broke my back in May and am now paralyzed in my legs. I went to the Grand Designs Live show and saw The Pro Personal Therapy System, had a go and bought one on the spot! Since then it has made such a difference to the way I feel. I used to get stiffness in my back every day - however I use the system for 30 minutes every morning and now do not get any stiffness at all. Being in a wheelchair meant that my ankles used to swell because the circulation couldn't go back up my legs, but by using the System on the programme that helps lymphatic drainage that has now gone as well. It is very popular in the house and we almost need an appointment book for it now - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Due to a broken back - Helen Oates
The main symptoms are all over body pain, chronic fatigue, stress and anxiety. I recently purchased the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System and found that after using it a couple of times a day I am much more relaxed and my pain has eased considerably. I can highly recommend this product for fibromyalgia sufferers. My partner John also uses it after gardening, and gets considerable relief for an aching back. My life has so much improved since using this equipment. Thank you Cyclo-ssage.

Degenerative Facet Joint Disease - Mike Waters
I have had degenerative facet joint disease for over 10 years, complicated by compressed discs and even a detached one. As a result I have been in an enormous amount of pain despite being prescribed Tramadol, Gabapentin and Naproxen; I have even had two de-nervation treatments where the nerves in my lower back were burnt out. Despite all the medications my condition was still very bad and getting worse, the Doctors signed me up for Morphine and left it to me to decide when I wanted to go on it. I am pleased to report that having used the bed twice a day for the past 4 weeks I am no longer taking Gabapentin, which is a great relief as it was affecting my memory and moods, it works by chemically killing the pain receptors in the brain, which causes the side effects. In addition I do not need as many Tramadols during the day, I have not used my walking stick since using the bed, my depression has lifted, my memory improved, I am sleeping better and I have had since using the massage bed is nothing short of miraculous and I am telling everyone about it. I told my Chiropractor and she will be in touch as will a couple of others, be prepared from enquiries from Penzance!

Ok, I know it's early days yet but I've had only five treatments on my equipment and I have woken up this morning with no back pain whatsoever for the first time in years! I've yet to get out of bed but looking good so far.

My system was delivered this morning and it's amazing, love it love it love it!!! The only thing missing is somewhere to plug in my iPod

Due to Scoliosis and spinal fusion - Mary Pooley
I purchased a Cyclo-ssage bed at the back-care show in London 2010. I have an extensive spinal fusion for Scoliosis, various dislocating joints and also M.E. (Chronic fatigue syndrome) and Fibromyalgia, all in all a lot of chronic pain in multiple areas and fatigue. The Cyclo-ssage has provided continued relief and comfort since I purchased it and is sometimes the only place I can go for relief. I love that there are no side- effects (like with medications), that it is there at home when- ever I need it and the quality of the product which still looks as good as new over two years on. Thank you Cyclo-ssage!

Chronic back condition - Angela Bean
I tried this machine today at the NEC today I had walked at the show most of the day and my back injury was playing up and struggled and I was on the machine for 15 mins and the pain went and its still gone.

Chronic back condition (Trapped nerve) - Emily Brown
Thank you Cyclo-ssage! Last year, at the Amateur Championships, I had a really bad experience with a trapped nerve in my back and if wasn't for the Pro-Personal by Cyclo- ssage I wouldn't have been able to compete.

Slipped disc - Christine Archer
Hi Shirley. You invited me to try your system at the Chatsworth House, where I bought it. I can’t thank you enough. I’ve started sleeping better, don’t hurt as much and best of all a MRI scan showed one of my slipped discs has gone back into place. Thanks Christine Archer x.

Degeneration of Lumbar and spine - David Steel
I have had my system for 11 months and yes I use it for back pain and general wellbeing. Haven’t needed to visit my Chiropractor for months. The best thing I have bought in years!

Chronic back condition (Spinal stenosis) - Ges Emery
I arrived at the Cyclo-ssage stall at the NEC this afternoon in a wheel chair I haven’t walked more than few yards in months and have constant back pain due to spinal stenosis. I cannot stand upright, always bent, and cannot stand unaided for more than a couple of minutes without excruciating pain. Well! I had one 15-minuate session on the massage table and could not only stand but also walk unaided. I cried like a baby, I never thought I would be able to walk upright again. In fact, I walked away from the stall pushing my husband in MY wheelchair!! Thank you Ged and Kevin, especially. Shall be in contact this week to buy one!!

Chronic back condition (Spinal stenosis) - Ges Emery
Just thought I’d update you on my back: my massage ended at 4:30pm on Saturday and I have only taken 2 painkillers since then. The pain is coming back though; by tomorrow I’ll be a little bent fat old lady again. However, things are looking up for buying a machine so by next weekend I hope to be a little fat UPRIGHT old lady.
(Mr and Mrs Emery went on to purchase a Cyclo-ssage System).

Neck and Shoulder

Including low energy levels - Dianne Hughes
I was at a show and feeling quite tired so decided to have a demonstration on the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System – I thought it was brilliant so went back at the end of the day for another trial and then decided to purchase one. Since I have had the system I have used it twice a day, most days and can really feel the benefits. I suffer from lower backache and whilst it is nothing serious it does cause discomfort. I went to the chiropractor recently and he said I was looking really good without me mentioning the System and I feel so much more free and comfortable, particularly in my lower back, neck and shoulders. I have also noticed it has increased my energy levels in general and working nights as a nurse puts a lot of pressure on the body but I have noticed a difference in how I feel at work as well. My husband was shocked at first when I told him I was buying it but now he uses it on a regular basis and I have even found him asleep on it before!

Whiplash injury - Gina Shiessl
The Pro Equine Massage System has also shown huge benefits with the horses – in particular Our 17hh dressage horse who has a hind leg shiver stemming from his back - the System has helped hugely.

Including relief from Colitis - Doreen Davenport
I bought the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System for myself and now my husband and the rest of the family use it. I suffer from Colitis and arthritis and I use it first thing in the morning and it relieves any stiffness. My husband suffers from arthritis and has a lot of pain in his neck and shoulders and the system helps relieve this pain. It is easy to use and I think it is absolutely marvelous!

Including Fibromyalgia - Freda Abbott
I have just got back from a session on the Cyclo-ssage bed, it was awesome as usual. My sister goes, also my friend, one with knee pain. Which she says as helped her so much, I know by using it regularly it enables her to do far more than before. The other has had a hip replacement a couple of years ago and also neck and shoulder issues. We all say a big thanks to the Cyclo-ssage bed it certainly made three old ladies happy.

Rheumatoid & Osteoarthritis

Joint Issues - Trevor Hanson
Trevor Hanson

Arthritis - Anne Weaver
Just a quick email to say thank you unlike most products yours has done exactly what you told us it would to say that it has made a difference to my life is an understatement. In 3 months I have only had 2 separate arthritis flare-ups both of which took less than a week to clear. I have ceased taking pain killers I don't need them and although I think a brief description of how to pack the equipment into the bag might not be a bad idea I managed after a couple of attempts. Thanks Anne Weaver

Hip Replacement - Tony Thorpe
Just a line to let you know how my system is improving my health and wellbeing. As you are aware, I had great difficulty in walking before I bought your system due to severe pain. I no longer suffer from such pain and find it easy to walk any distances. In addition my excellent powers of recovery after having first a hernia operation and then a total hip excellent powers of recovery after having first a hernia operation and then a total hip replacement. 3 hours after the hernia op I walked out of the hospital as though I'd never had an operation and was walking normally. Two weeks after my hip replacement I was walking totally unaided. On both occasions the hospital staff were amazed at my powers of recuperation. Thanks to you all. Yours in Health, Tony Thorpe

Hip pain - Joyce Jeffery Reynolds
It was good to meet you all again at The Ideal Home Show and to let you know how much your massage system has helped my husband. We bought the system in September 2013 at The Home Improvement Show at Olympia. My husband broke his hip in June and, although having physiotherapy, he was in a great deal of pain and having trouble walking any distance. We used a wheelchair around the show and took up the offer of a trial on the mattress. My husband had 30 minutes on the bed and then walked round the show for the next 2 hours with no pain and very little difficulty. We returned to your stand and bought the Cyclo-ssage system. We were impressed by the fact that the inventors had had problems themselves and had improved dramatically using their own invention. There was no hard sell, just a genuine belief in the product. My husband uses the mattress twice a day for half an hour and has made a remarkable recovery, walking fairly normally and without pain. If he misses a few days he really notices the difference. He also finds it very relaxing; I frequently have to wake him up! Thank you for inventing the Cyclo-ssage and giving my husband back some quality of life. Regards Joyce Jeffery Reynolds.

Arthritis pain and stiffness - Doreen Davenport

Rheumatoid Arthritis - Janet Barnicoat
I must apologize for initially being such a skeptic but I cannot thank you enough for coming down to Cornwall to demonstrate and spend time to convince me that it would not just be another product tried and then left in the back of the cupboard if it did not work for me. From day one of receiving my Massage System I have never missed a day and I use it twice a day as you recommended. When my muscles are aching I really look forward to the relief that the System provides. Previous to using the System I had to take many anti-inflammatory tablets in one day and in the past three months I have reduced them greatly. I am now frightened to think of the possibility of being without my best friend the Cyclo-ssage System at any time. As you know I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and as you said the System is not by any means a cure, but when I have days and sometimes weeks that are so painful it is wonderful to know that I can get pain relief by using my System without any side effects. In June this year I had a very bad flare up of my arthritis and my son Simon brought back your advertisement leaflet from the Royal Cornwall Show. Yes; we were all very skeptical due to factors such as the price and the fact that I had tried so many products that have not previously worked for me. But I was so ill at that time and suffering so much pain that one day although not really being a religious person I prayed to my guardian angel for help, not knowing then what sort of form if any the help would be. I now believe that not only my son, but also you were sent to help me with your product, otherwise why would I have felt so confident that it was right for me. Why would you have driven from Wales to Cornwall at such short notice? I could go on and on; I just want you to know how pleased I am with the results since using my Massage System twice a day every day.

Hip pain (including back Pain) - Kenneth Alan
I purchased my Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System from your company about two years ago and I would like to express how pleased I am with it. I use it three times each day, morning noon and early evening, it facilitates my movement and the relief from back and hip pain is wonderful. I know that it will not cure my medical condition but it certainly makes my life more comfortable. I cannot imagine life without it! Many thanks from a grateful customer.

Osteoarthritis (of the hips) - Dawn Bream
Having been diagnosed with arthritis in my hips just over two years ago, I had the good fortune to have the use of a Cyclo- ssage personal massage system, whilst waiting for my first hip replacement. The relief the system gave me from the pain was amazing just by using it for 30 minutes at a time twice a day. The system also helped with my recovery once I'd had my operations. I wouldn't hesitate to use the system in the future, Many Thanks to Nick & Dorothy for all your help xxxxx

Osteoarthritis (of the knees) - Clair Higgins
I would just like to say thank you to Shan at Scope for offering me a treatment today. I have osteoarthritis and Avascular Nercrosis in both knees; I am also cancer survivor of 3 years. After a long morning of walking round on crutches and shopping we sat done for lunch, after I could hardly move which us normal for me these days. I took the opportunity to go back for my treatment and after the 30 mins my legs felt very light and I could actually walk again like it had a great nights sleep. The way it works is amazing and to see or in my case feel the results was great, it meant I could go round the shops again. Thank you today's opportunity and I will be looking into this in the future. I'm very skeptical of new things but I've got to the stage of I'll try anything these days and this certainly helped today.

Arthritis (of the back) - Gail King
I have owned one of these for 18 months. I have Arthritis and muscle pain in lower back. I would recommend one of these. An hour a day keeps me more flexible and relieves the pain.

Arthritis - Gail King
I am on mine now for an hour. Then let the day begin. Another one before bed, then a nice sleep. Same again tomorrow, everyday actually when I can. Two years I have had mine, who said money can't buy happiness. Wouldn't be without mine for pain relief.

Doreen Davenport - Arthritis pain and stiffness
Mrs Davenport noticed a significant improvement in both her own and her husband’s quality of life since using the Pro Personal Therapy System.I bought the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System for myself and now my husband and the rest of the family use it. I suffer from Colitis and arthritis and I use it first thing in the morning and it relieves any stiffness. My husband suffers from arthritis and has a lot of pain in his neck and shoulders and the system helps relieve this pain. It is easy to use and I think it is absolutely marvelous!

Freda Abbott – Knee pain (including Fibromyalgia)
I have just got back from a session on the Cyclo-ssage bed, its was awesome as usual. My sister goes, also my friend, one with knee pain. Which she says as helped her so much, I know by using it regularly it enables her to do far more than before. Stiffness - Sue Aldous
I am loving my new system, I am already feeling less stiff each morning and the first walk downstairs is easier. My husband also says the lack of feeling in his feet is improving due to better circulation.

Including a Chronic back condition and Cellulitis - Karen Varney
Hi there. Just to let you know the in laws are having great benefits from the Cyclo-ssage. They had it delivered last Wednesday and feeling the benefits already from using it. Everything lol. Mum in law has bad back, arthritis, really bad cellulitis to name a few and father in law has general age problems and joint pains. They had demo yesterday afternoon and both felt and instant difference. My father in law was extremely skeptical about trying it. He was surprisingly impressed. Can’t wait until it arrives. Looking forward to being out of pain for a few hours.

Joint pain - Pauline Leslie Edney
I have had my Cyclo-sage for nearly five years, the best investment I ever made. As a nurse I have lots of aches and pains with musculoskeletal wear and tear, keeps me upright, pain free and working, thank you. I constantly recommend anyone in need to check this out and make a very sensible choice.

Arthritis - Sandra Munro
I wish I had heard of the Cyclo-ssage system a lot sooner. I have now placed an order after trying it out at the Highland Show and I am now hoping to be able to gradually come off the medication.

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia (as well as Degenerative Disc Disease, Scoliosis, Schermanns Disease, Chronic Fatigue and Insomnia) - Samantha Hill

I went for a long walk Friday and then fishing Sunday and Monday which involved a lot of walking etc.... I have fibromyalgia and come last night I could barely move.... 30 mins on my Cyclo-ssage and I am a new woman.... I love it no pain at all this morning.

I purchased a Cyclo-ssage at the Malvern Hills show as I was blown away. I went to the show and hired a electric scooter as I am 36 years old and recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia which HAD turned my life upside down. Please note I said HAD..... I came across the Cyclo-ssage stand and the gentleman gave me a treatment followed by another treatment before I went to my hotel on the Friday then 2 treatments Saturday and 1 on the Sunday. I could not believe the difference I felt almost immediately. I slept like a baby for the first time in ages and even managed to walk around some of the show. I am a ex international hammer thrower retired due to injury and then got fibromyalgia recently but due to Cyclo-ssage I am back doing what I love.... coaching athletics and even managed some actual throwing myself. I truly believe this is due to Cyclo-ssage it has given me a life back and is amazing. Thank you especially to Norman who had all the time in the world for me at that show.

My Cyclo-ssage Massage Therapy unit arrived. I’m so happy I could sing out loud. Still enjoying my Cyclo-ssage and using it an hour per day as part of chronic pain management.

It nearly one year I have been using the Cyclo-ssage Massage bed. It really is worth trying, I was amazed how different I felt. Not just eases pain away but really does relax your muscles and makes you have the good factor about yourself. Eased some of my fibro symptoms a treat. Best thing I have ever done in years. Highly recommended.

Fibromyalgia - Barbara Neal
I have suffered with Fibromyalgia for 5 years and first saw and tried the Cyclo-ssage Therapy System at the Ideal Home Exhibition last year. It certainly helped me through the rest of the day but didn't feel I could justify spending so much on something I had used for just 15 minutes. However, I couldn't stop thinking and talking about the experience to my friends and family and finally decided to invest. Trying to set up the massage bed on my own wasn't easy and for a few weeks I thought I had made an expensive mistake. Sean, one of the Cyclo-ssage Team was able to visit and helped me position the bed correctly for my needs. Since then I haven't looked back or regretted my purchase. I try to use the bed for 15 minutes morning and night, sometimes longer if I am having a bad day. I have seen an improvement in my mobility and general energy levels. One of the main benefits is that I have been able to reduce some of my pain management medication. I know the bed isn't a cure but it certainly makes life a lot more bearable. Kind regards, Barbara Neal.

I bought The Pro Personal Therapy System as I am always looking for ways to help the condition without taking prescribed drugs. I now use the system once or twice a day and it has significantly improved my quality of life. The pain has reduced but the most noticeable difference is how much more energy I have. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Fibromyalgia (including a broken back) - Helen Oates
I recently purchased the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System and found that after using it a couple of times a day I am much more relaxed and my pain has eased considerably. I can highly recommend this product for fibromyalgia sufferers. My partner John also uses it after gardening, and gets considerable relief for an aching back. My life has so much improved since using this equipment. Thank you Cyclo-ssage.

Fibromyalgia (including ME) - Kate Louise Bowskill
Hi I have had M.E/Fibro for 21 yrs and have been using my massage bed for a year and a half now. During that time I have come off all pain medication. Was devastated when I found out I couldn't use whilst pregnant but after seeking advice from my GP I am using it again and extremely glad I sought his advice. So I would highly recommend this for pain management to anyone who has similar conditions to mine.

Hi, I tried this in one of the shows in Jersey and wanted to know if you have a date when these will be shown again as I am interested in purchasing one. I have FM / Behcets / Dercums and Addison’s Disease and just a trial period this made a huge difference to my pain.

Hi. I have MS, Fibromyalgia, joint hypermobility, and ME causing bad pelvic pain. I use an electric wheelchair and tri walker. The unit was amazing and gave me such relief from muscular pain for about three hours after just my trail session. The heated shoulder and pelvic areas soothed my nerve and joint discomfort considerably. I also felt rested and revived, which is a wonderful blessing for me. Hence when I woke, as usual, in extreme pain in the night, my first thought was of the Cyclo-ssage. Made me realize how good it had been for me. (Katherine Ratcliffe went on to make a purchase).

Fibromyalgia (including knee pain) - Freda Abbott
I have just got back from a session on the Cyclo-ssage bed, it was awesome as usual. My sister goes, also my friend, one with knee pain. Which she says as helped her so much, I know by using it regularly it enables her to do far more than before. The other has had a hip replacement a couple of years ago and also neck and shoulder issues. We all say a big thanks to the Cyclo-ssage bed it certainly made three old ladies happy.

Fibromyalgia (including, Scoliosis, spinal fusion and ME) - Mary Pooley

Fibromyalgia (as well as Insomnia) – Rebecca Brooks
And now a few weeks on, I still love my Cyclo-ssage system. I wake up in pain most mornings and I can get on my "buzzy table" as it has become affectionately known, and after a 30 - 45 mins session, I am pain free for hours.

I also find that a 30 min session on the Insomnia setting and I sleep better than I have in years and I don’t need to take sleeping pills anymore.

After this pic was taken at the ideal home exhibition, I was able to walk for another two hours before getting over tired. Such a blessing on a day out I thought might be very tough going. THANK YOU!

Fibromyalgia (as well as Insomnia) – Rebecca Brooks
Three months. The impact on my life is great! When I have a bad pain day, a thirty-minute buzz on therapy 4 or 1 works wonders (I do therapy 4 daily in the morning)

Then therapy 9 at bed time and I sleep without sleeping pills. If I wake in the night I can just top up with another 15 mins on therapy 9 and off to sleep again. Thank you!!

Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s Disease - Mrs Doig
When we spoke last month you asked me to report back to you after my husband had used the massage bed for 3-4 weeks. I am pleased to say that there has been a definite improvement, mainly in that he is now able to sleep for five or more hours at night, rather than wandering about as before - something which Parkinson patients often suffer from. My husband is also more alert most of the time, and has fewer "foggy" episodes, which I feel is the result of improved circulation. His stiff back muscles are helped each time he uses the bed, and I am hoping that with continued use more relief may be possible. He has mainly followed your advice of using Programme 2 early mornings, and Medical Programme 4. Afternoon and evenings. He is also experimenting with some of the others on occasion. Programme 9 is very soothing. I thought at the time of purchase that a brain operation was being considered, but this has now been abandoned as not being beneficial. A substantial heart block has been diagnosed which has affected some brain cells, so everything that helps here at home is important. I am very glad to have the massage bed as an aid.

Parkinson’s Disease - Stella Dowding
Due to a last minute change of plan my husband and I attended the Southampton Boat Show in September. While walking through the stands we noticed one displaying massage beds with a list of ailments they could help. After meeting up with our daughter we returned to the stall where, [having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s 2 years earlier] I qualified for a free treatment. Not only did the treatment feel good, I was shown so much kindness throughout. With explanations given not only to myself but also my husband and daughter, we ordered immediately. Delivery was within a few days and since then it has been in regular use. Results are good, my walking has improved a great deal, as have all my movements and my joints are less stiff. I am so glad we met at the boat show and thank you so much.

I have MS. After that brief treatment I had less pain in my hips and knee than I've had for ages. I took a short walk with your rep, Kevin, and walked further and more easily than I have in weeks. This morning I put a load of washing in the machine and managed to stand up again without my knees locking and me having to shout for someone to stand me up! I feel more supple and I also had a bit more feeling in my fingers after the treatment. If that's what it does after 15 minutes I can't wait to see what it does for me after a few weeks. It's such a relaxing therapy and when the massage is finished you feel this wave going through your body, it's fab.Ok, I know it's early days yet but I've had only five treatments on my equipment and I have woken up this morning with no back pain what so ever for the first time in years!

Similar to MS - Deirdre Corris
Suffering from Adrenoleukodystrophy [ALD] It manifests in a similar way to MS and one of the symptoms is painful muscle spam in my legs. I have, for years, tried to get relief from various therapies, including traditional massage and drug treatments. Nothing was ever very successful. Because of this, I didn't have very high expectations for the Cyclo-ssage, but have been really delighted with it and am noticeably more comfortable. It is a luxury to be independent again and not rely on a tired husband to massage my sore legs. I have informed the ALD support group and my Doctors so that they can pass the good news on to other ALD patients.

Our Cyclo-ssage is incredible, thank you. Our members love it for pain relief, helping to stimulate circulation and relaxation. Our members families love it for a bit of me time and to relax tired muscles. Our visitors love it because they’ve never see one before and we love it because it keeps all our peeps happy.

ME/Low Energy Levels

ME (as well as Degenerative Disc Disease, Scoliosis, Schermans Disease, Fibromyalgia and Insomnia) - Samantha Hill

ME including back pain and poor circulation - Xanta Da Costa Maia
I have had chronic pain for almost four years and I also have a clubbed foot. I have not tried anything else like this because they did not seem like it would work. My mum saw the banners at Cowes week saying the Cyclo-ssage could work for chronic fatigue which is close to what I have so I tried it and it made a big difference to my circulation and my back as well. Thank you very much for helping my mum buy one at Cowes week. You were really kind and really nice!

Low energy levels (including neck and shoulder pain) - Dianne Hughes
I was at a show and feeling quite tired so decided to have a demonstration on the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System – I thought it was brilliant so went back at the end of the day for another trial and then decided to purchase one. Since I have had the system I have used it twice a day, most days and can really feel the benefits. I suffer from lower backache and whilst it is nothing serious it does cause discomfort. I went to the chiropractor recently and he said I was looking really good without me mentioning the System and I feel so much more free and comfortable, particularly in my lower back, neck and shoulders. I have also noticed it has increased my energy levels in general and working nights as a nurse puts a lot of pressure on the body – but I have noticed a difference in how I feel at work as well. My husband was shocked at first when I told him I was buying it but now he uses it on a regular basis and I have even found him asleep on it before!

ME - Jane Price
I bought a bed in July at the royal welsh show while visiting for the day from Merthyr Tydfil. I suffer from M.E./ chronic fatigue syndrome so having this bed has completely changed my life. I work as a staff nurse and lead a busy life that's had been hard to do until purchasing the bed. All the aches and pains ease along with the energy and fogginess has gone providing I use it as recommended twice a day everyday. If I don't boy do I notice the difference. A big Thank you Cyclo- ssage xx.

Low energy levels - Selina Ramsey

ME (including MS, Fibromyalgia and Hypermobility) - Katherine Ratcliffe
Tried out this system yesterday afternoon at Southport Flower Show. Lay in bed last night wishing I had one to help with pain! Will be going to Chatsworth Country Fair to try it again and hopefully get enough pennies together to buy one.

Leg pain, Lymphedema and Poor Circulation

Circulation and leg pain - George Jenner
“I am a changed man! After a number of months of accelerating pain, I was tentatively diagnosed as having peripheral neuropathy in both my legs and feet. Unsteadiness was also a problem, resulting in the constant use of a walking stick. My legs alternatively felt as if they were “on fire” or “icy- cold”, and I could get no relief in the day, with sleepless nights following. Despite the efforts of my excellent GP, little effective relief could be offered except a worrying increase in dosages of Gabapentin from an initial 300mg daily to 2100mg daily. Not least of the side effects were very unwelcome nightmares. Swapping to an alternative drug, Pregabaline, brought a solution no nearer. A consultant-ordered Doppler test and MRI-scan still left the pain. Walking upstairs became harder and I had reached the point where I was unable to leave the house without considerable effort. In effect, I was becoming a recluse. Then I encountered the Cyclo-ssage System. My pain-laced scepticism can be imagined. Wow! After just one session I was able to walk around the room more freely. Using the system three times a day has brought stunning results. From being a virtual prisoner in the home, I can now walk without any support at all and have re-engaged with my long-term hobby of landscape photography. The word “unparalleled” springs to mind. I have been able to give up the medication (and the nightmares). I even get a much better night’s sleep. The only time the pain returns with a vengeance is if I am unable to gain access to the Cyclo-ssage. To say that I highly recommend it is putting the situation too mildly. I cannot imagine living without it! Thank-you, Cyclo-ssage, for giving me my legs back.”

Poor circulation (including chronic fatigue and back pain) - Xanta Da Costa Maia

Poor circulation and Lymphatic issues (including back pain) - Caroline Waring

Stiffness, circulation, and numb feet - Sue Aldous
I am loving my new system, I am already feeling less stiff each morning and the first walk downstairs is easier. My husband also says the lack of feeling in his feet is improving due to better circulation.

Lymphoedema - Mary Bailey Portishead
I am pleased to write in praise of Cyclo-ssage Therapy System. I have suffered with painful legs for 60 years due to hereditary lymphoedema. However, since in 2009 when I discovered the massage bed demonstrated at a Motor Show, reserving at least one hour a day to vibrate my limbs has relieved them of discomfort. The massage also generally awakens the body - and brain! I use programme 9/2. A wonderful invention, not cheap admittedly, but worth the money. Best wishes to the Management and its team. Mary Bailey Portishead.

Cellulitis (including a Chronic back condition and Arthritis) - Karen Varney

Stress, Sleep and Relaxation

Sleep/Insomnia (as well as Degenerative Disc Disease, Scoliosis, Schermans Disease, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue) - Samantha Hill

Dear Mr Boulton and Mr Nicholls,
It was good to meet you at the Ideal Home Exhibition in April 2017. Mum and I enjoyed the care and kindness that you showed to us. Hope you can use the Marks and Spenser's voucher to buy some goodies to share with your team at the next exhibition.
I am enjoying using the Cyclo-ssage, the pain levels vary daily but quality of sleep is much, much improved. I will keep you updated.
Thank you. Best wishes Christina.

Aided sleep “ I have even found him asleep on it before” - Dianne Hughes

Aided relaxation “feeling so relaxed for several hours” - Denise Moreton
I tried this system out a while back at a show at the NEC Birmingham and couldn’t believe how much better my back pain was. (I have long-standing chronic back pain) I was able to walk around the NEC pain free and feeling so relaxed for several hours afterwards.

Aided sleep “I have fallen asleep during a session” - Trevor Hanson
Trevor Hanson

Aided sleep “ I am often found to be falling asleep” - David Steel
As I have now owned my Cyclo-ssage system for slightly over 6 months, I thought I should drop you a line to let you know how happy I am with it. I use the system regularly for 15 minute or 30 minute sessions as part of my self-management routine and really am impressed with the benefits I gain from it. I have even been doing some gardening work recently, which I would not have contemplated previously. More importantly, my pain levels are massively reduced and therefore my general feeling of well being is much improved. Incidentally, I am often found to be falling asleep when taking a 30-minute session! I would thoroughly recommend the product to anyone who suffers from this type of pain and thank you and your staff for introducing me to the system. Yours sincerely, David Steel

Aided sleep “valuable to any one suffering from a sleeping problems" - Fionna Harrison

Aided relaxation “The beauty of it is so relaxing” - Mrs Graham

Aided sleep “I’ve started sleeping better” - Christine Archer
Hi Shirley. You invited me to try your system at the Chatsworth House, where I bought it. I can’t thank you enough. I’ve started sleeping better, don’t hurt as much and best of all a MRI scan showed one of my slipped discs has gone back into place.

Aided relaxation “He also finds it very relaxing” - Joyce Jeffery Reynolds

Aided sleep “a nice sleep” - Gail King
I am on mine now for an hour. Then let the day begin. Another one before bed, then a nice sleep. Same again tomorrow, everyday actually when I can. Two years I have had mine, who said money can't buy happiness. Wouldn't be without mine for pain relief.

Aided relaxation “I am much more relaxed” - Helen Oates
The main symptoms are all over body pain, chronic fatigue, stress and anxiety. I recently purchased the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System and found that after using it a couple of times a day I am much more relaxed and my pain has eased considerably. I can highly recommend this product for fibromyalgia sufferers. My partner John also uses it after gardening, and gets considerable relief for an aching back. My life has so much improved since using this equipment. Thank you Cyclo-ssage.

Aided sleep “I slept like a baby” - Helen Bloomfield

Aided sleep “I also felt rested and revived” - Katherine Ratcliffe

Aided sleep “he is now able to sleep for five or more hours” - Mrs Doig

Aided relaxation “helping to stimulate...relaxation” - MS Swindon Therapy Centre

Aided relaxation “it’s such a relaxing therapy” - Susan Shand
It's such a relaxing therapy and when the massage is finished you feel this wave going through your body, it's fab. Ok, I know it's early days yet but I've had only five treatments on my equipment and I have woken up this morning with no back pain what so ever for the first time in years!

Insomnia (as well as Fibromyalgia) - Rebecca Brooks
And now a few weeks on, I still love my Cyclo-ssage system. I wake up in pain most mornings and I can get on my "buzzy table" as it has become affectionately known, and after a 30 - 45 mins session, I am pain free for hours.

I also find that a 30 min session on the Insomnia setting and I sleep better than I have in years and I don’t need to take sleeping pills anymore.

After this pic was taken at the ideal home exhibition, I was able to walk for another two hours before getting over tired. Such a blessing on a day out I thought might be very tough going. THANK YOU!

Insomnia (as well as Fibromyalgia) - Rebecca Brooks
Three months. The impact on my life is great! When I have a bad pain day, a thirty-minute buzz on therapy 4 or 1 works wonders (I do therapy 4 daily in the morning)

Then therapy 9 at bed time and I sleep without sleeping pills. If I wake in the night I can just top up with another 15 mins on therapy 9 and off to sleep again. Thank you!!

Colitis

Colitis (including Arthritis) - Doreen Davenport
Mrs Davenport noticed a significant improvement in both her own and her husband’s quality of life since using the Pro Personal Therapy System.

Reduction in Medication and Painkillers

Chronic back condition (Muscle spams) – “I had abounded all medication” - Cath Vaughan
Just a short message to thank you for selling us a Cyclo-ssage bed at the Royal Highland Show. Cath Vaughan

Chronic back condition (Degenerative Facet Joint Disease) – “meds free future” - R Peters-Smith

Chronic back condition (Degenerative Facet Joint Disease) - “I am no longer taking Gabapentin” - Mike Waters
In addition I do not need as many Tramadols during the day, I have not used my walking stick since using the bed, my depression has lifted, my memory improved, I am sleeping better and I have even given up smoking as well. In short, the improvement that I have had since using the massage bed is nothing short of miraculous and I am telling everyone about it. I told my Chiropractor and she will be in touch as will a couple of others, be prepared from enquiries from Penzance!

Anne Weaver – Arthritis “I have ceased taking painkillers”
Just a quick email to say thank you unlike most products yours has done exactly what you told us it would to say that it has made a difference to my life is an understatement. In 3 months I have only had 2 separate arthritis flare-ups both of which took less than a week to clear. I have ceased taking pain killers I don't need them and although I think a brief description of how to pack the equipment into the bag might not be a bad idea I managed after a couple of attempts. Thanks Anne Weaver

Fibromyalgia “I have been able to reduce some of my pain management medication” - Barbara Neal

Circulation and leg pain (including sleep deprivation) “ I have been able to give up the medication” - George Jenner

ME (including Fibromyalgia) “I have come off all pain medication” - Kate Louise Bowskill

Accelerated Recovery

Hip Replacement - Tony Thorpe
Just a line to let you know how my system is improving my health and wellbeing. As you are aware, I had great difficulty in walking before I bought your system due to severe pain. I no longer suffer from such pain and find it easy to walk any distances. In addition my excellent powers of recovery after having first a hernia operation and then a total hip replacement. 3 hours after the hernia op I walked out of the hospital as though I'd never had an operation and was walking normally. Two weeks after my hip replacement I was walking totally unaided. On both occasions the hospital staff were amazed at my powers of recuperation. Thanks to you all. Yours in Health, Tony Thorpe.

I wouldn't hesitate to use the system in the future, Many Thanks to Nick & Dorothy for all your help xxxxx.

Health/Sports Professionals and Businesses

Private and NHS Orthopedic Surgeon - Mr Philip Heaton
I have been asked by the Directors of Cyclo-ssage to comment on my experience regarding the benefits to be gained by both my NHS and Private-patients using the Pro Personal Therapy System (PPTS). Firstly, I would like to explain that prior to the purchase and subsequent use of the 3 PPTS's, I was heavily involved in numerous literature studies during my PhD degree at the University of Portsmouth, assessing the effectiveness of vibro thermometric therapy for patients with chronic debilitating disease. The reviews and studies were unanimously in favour of vibro thermometric therapy positively contributing to a successful outcome, particularly for the non-surgical treatment of chronic debilitating diseased patients. In light of the recent publication from the Royal College of Surgeons on spinal surgery outcomes, spinal surgery for chronic debilitating conditions are currently not seen to generate a significant long term benefit and as such there is a current move, both by the Royal College of Surgeons and indeed the UK Government, to stimulate research into the non-surgical treatment of chronic debilitating diseases, in order that, such patients have an alternative and, hopefully, more successful outcome. I should inform you as a result of current medical perception of spinal surgery in our Trust, the United Lincolnshire NHS Hospitals Trust, no longer offers spinal surgery for any form of spinal disease. As a surgeon, this leaves me very sympathetic and, as a person, very saddened for patients with this condition, as often the continuous and constant daily pain which implies that such patients are unable to get any form of comfort during the day and at night, subjects such patients to a level of pain and dependency on opiates (analgesic medications) with their attendant complications and detriment to life and daily functions. In my practice, such patients are currently being offered the opportunity to engage in non-surgical treatment with the use of the PPMS and it is for this reason that we, at the University of Portsmouth Mechanical Engineering Department, are commencing further research to document the positive outcome that this System uniquely contributes to the above cohort of patients. The PPMS design features are unique in affording patients with spinal deformities, such as a kyphotic or lordotic spine a completely conforming platform for vibro thermometric therapy to occur on. The unique specifications of the system include the completely deforming base form with a truncal depression that supports the mal- aligned kyphotic spine, the consequence of chronic debilitating degenerative spinal disease. Such kyphotic patients are unable to utilise standard purchases equivalent on the market as those systems have a non-deforming un- contoured base platform. The system also is unique in having thermal units that are precisely placed within anatomical range of neural canals along cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebral spines, therefore affording direct and specific focal treatments for patients with compressive neuropathies in such crucial anatomical locations of the spine. An additional unique feature, specific to the lower limbs of the PPMS, is the ability to offer patients with chronic oedema significant relief of pain due to the height offered by the various elevation cushions, such that the ankle end of the Therapy System can be maintained at an adjusted height, while the head end of the platform is stationed at a lower height, affording lymphatic drainage from the lower limbs back into the trunk. This is particularly useful for patients with chronic lymphedema and those with cystic fibrosis, both debilitating chronic conditions. We will be shortly commencing a research study that will include patients with degenerative lumbo-spinal stenosis, advanced degenerative osteoarthritis of the hip and knee, in the hope of expanding the medical cohort of patients that this Therapy System can continue to positively impact on. Yours sincerely Mr P Heaton FRCS (Tr & Orth), PhD Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon.

Business - Aaron Davidson
Explore Multi Sensory Room, Little Hulton, Manchester Just wanted to say a big thanks to Cyclo-ssage. We have one of your beds at Explore MSR, which is going great. We advertised it briefly and started getting people coming in just to use it. Absolutely everyone who has used it has really felt the benefits and have returned time and time again. We're planning on getting it out into the community doing mobile sessions soon. Big shout out to Mark who has been fantastic in coming down and showing us the possibilities. Looking forward to him coming down and holding an open day

GP - Dr Kathryn Lewis
Conclusion of the Audit of Patients Using the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System at Westbury Surgery in Shrewsbury. The use of the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System has been well received by the practices population. It has been used in a variety of medical conditions and has improved pain relief and recovery in acute conditions while reducing the need for strong analgesics. In the chronic pain sufferers it has enabled some to reduce their need for analgesics resulting in a reduction in prescribing costs and in patients reporting side effects. The Practice feels that the use of the Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Massage System has been beneficial and the practice intends to continue to use it in the coming years. It is hoped that we will be able to purchase a second bed in the near future. The use of the Pro Personal Massage System has been welcomed by the local PCT Medicines management team and it is hoped that we will be able to offer its use to patients from other practices with some form of contract in the future.

Sports professional (event rider and car racing driver) - Liz Halliday
Preparation outside the cockpit is becoming more and more crucial for racing drivers and the Pro-Personal system can really help, explained Halliday. As soon as I tried it out at one of my events I realized it would be perfect for motorsport. Driving a race car is far more physical and strenuous than most people realize. The G-forces and demands that the car puts on your body in testing or over a race weekend can be very extreme, and even drivers at the peak of physical fitness can feel the strain that this puts on the body. Since using the Pro Personal Massage System I have felt an incredible difference in how I feel throughout a race weekend. I am now able to perform to the best of my ability in the car every time that I get behind the wheel, without the level of muscle stress, fatigue and stiffness that I would have had before. Being 100% in the car both mentally and physically is the difference between winning and losing on the racetrack, and I think that the Pro Personal Massage System is an essential piece of kit for any driver who is serious about their results. Being portable the System can be taken to races around the world. Drivers racing at an endurance event like the Le Mans 24 Hours are going to love it, and will soon find it to be an essential piece of kit I think!

Hi. Thanks for your reply. It’s always good to know there is good back up from a supplier. Knowing that I was dealing with a supportive company was a big factor in my decision to buy a bed from you. Philip and the rest of the team were so helpful when I met them at Cowes this year. They even remembered me from last year!! Do give them my regards.
I am also glad to report that my patients are loving the Cyclo- ssage effect and I’m beginning to get booking for stand-alone treatments or as an add-on to my normal Osteopathic treatment.

Durability, Quality and Customer Service

Two years I have had mine” - Gail King
I am on mine now for an hour. Then let the day begin. Another one before bed, then a nice sleep. Same again tomorrow, everyday actually when I can. Two years I have had mine, who said money can't buy happiness. Wouldn't be without mine for pain relief.

I have had my Cyclo-ssage for nearly five years” - Pauline Leslie Edney
I have had my cyclo-sage for nearly five years, the best investment I ever made. As a nurse I have lots of aches and pains with musculoskeletal wear and tear, keeps me upright, pain free and working, thank you. I constantly recommend anyone in need to check this out and make a very sensible choice.

I purchased...about two years ago” - Kenneth Alan
I purchased my Cyclo-ssage Pro Personal Therapy System from your company about two years ago and I would like to express how pleased I am with it. I use it three times each day, morning noon and early evening, it facilitates my movement and the relief from back and hip pain is wonderful. I know that it will not cure my medical condition but it certainly makes my life more comfortable. I cannot imagine life without it! Many thanks from a grateful customer.

Quality of the product still looks as good as new” - Mary Black
I purchased a Cyclo-ssage bed at the back-care show in London 2010. I have an extensive spinal fusion and Scoliosis, various dislocating joints and also M.E. (Chronic fatigue syndrome) and Fibromyalgia. All in all, I have a lot of chronic pain in multiple areas and fatigue. The Cyclo-ssage has provided continued relief and comfort since I purchased it and is sometimes the only place I can go for relief. I love that there are no side-effects (like with medications), that it is there at home when-ever I need it and the quality of the product which still looks as good as new over two years on. Thank you Cyclo- ssage!

You were really kind and really nice” - Xanta Da Costa Maia
I have had chronic pain for almost four years and I also have a clubbed foot. I have not tried anything else like this because they did not seem like it would work. My mum saw the banners at Cowes week saying the Cyclo-ssage could work for chronic fatigue which is close to what I have so I tried it and it made a big difference to my circulation and my back as well. Thank you very much for helping my mum buy one at Cowes week. You were really kind and really nice!

I was shown so much kindness throughout” - Stella Dowding
